What fee will I pay for paying off a bill?

There are two options:

  • without priority, the cost is 1€
  • with priority, the cost is 1.5€ for government bills and 1.2€ for non-government bills
I live in Athens. Can I pay the water bill for my countryside home which is located in another city?

Yes.

Will I receive a receipt for the bill payment I have made?

Yes.

Can I pay an overdue bill?

It depends on the organization. The payment from DirectPay will be processed, but there is a possibility that the organization may refund it or apply additional charges to the next bill.

Can I partially pay a bill?

It depends on the organization. For example, with the PPC (DEI) it is possible, but with the EYDAP (ΕΥΔΑΠ) it is not allowed.

Is it possible to pay a bill in installments?

This option is currently not available.

What fee will I pay for depositing money into a bank account in Greece?

It depends on the amount of money to be deposited, so you should inquire at the nearest service point.

What fee will I pay for depositing money into a Bank Account in a European Union country?

It depends on the amount of money to be deposited, so you should inquire at the nearest service point.

What fee will I pay for depositing money into a Bank Account in the Philippines?

It depends on the amount of money to be deposited, so you should inquire at the nearest service point.

Can I send money to a country outside the European Union and the Philippines?

Currently, the service is only available for these countries. Coming soon to more.

In how many days will the money appear in the recipient's account?

It depends on the country. In Greece, the amount appears the next business day. In the European Union, within 1 to 3 business days, in the Philippines, 1 to 3 business days, except for RCBC, where they appear immediately.

What happens if I deposit money into the wrong bank account?

If the account exists, the money will be deposited into it. If not, the funds will be refunded.

Can I cancel a deposit?

No. The only exception applies to Greek banks, where cancellation can occur under specific conditions.

Will there be any withholding of funds by the recipient's bank?

No.

What is the maximum deposit amount I can make?

In a transaction in Greece it is €12,500, in the E.U. it is €7,000 and in the Philippines €4,000. Annual limit of €15,000 per customer

What fee will I pay for sending money outside of Greece?

It depends on the amount of money to be sent, so you should inquire at the nearest service point.

How quickly will the money reach the recipient?

The process is almost instant, but to be sure, we guarantee completion within 10 minutes.

How can I protect myself from fraud?

We never send money to strangers, random acquaintances from the internet, or individuals asking for money under the guise of supposed winnings, donations, animals etc.

Can I cancel the money transfer?

If the transaction is in cash and has not been received, yes.

What is the maximum amount I can send in a single transaction?

It depends on the recipient’s country. In most cases, it is €7,000.

Can I send money within Greece?

Of course.

Can I send money on the weekend and the recipient receive it on the same weekend?
